More Stripey Knitting

Knitting projects are happening fast and furiously around here. I have had lots of time to knit over the past couple of weeks, and not just on the subway.

What? You can't see what's in that photo? Hmmm, perhaps it's because the glass in the background isn't exactly filled with carrot juice.

Oh no........drinking and knitting do not mix. You could end up with wonky arms or six fingers or something else.

Friends don't let friends knit drunk!

Are you joking? Drinking and knitting TOTALLY mix! Unless it's Guinness. Guinness and knitting are bitter, BITTER enemies.

Personally, I stick with white wine when knitting.

Ha, everytime I knit drunk, I wake the next morning despairing at how many times I appear to have dropped stitches. Or, worse, dropped spots of red wine on cream wool. Will I ever learn?

I've knit after a few too many beers on the subway home, I'm amazed that I don't drop more stitches than I do :)

I even have the tshirt, that says "unwind" with knitting needles and a ball of yarn stuck in a martini glass! Its a perfect way to get through the boring mindless stuff! L
