Not Much

I'm in denial about my cardigan.

With this much progress, there's almost no way that I'll have it finished in two weeks. Especially when those two weeks include moving. And, call me crazy, but after a couple of hours of packing, all I want to do is go outside and walk around in the sunshine.

Not like there's been much of that lately...

So, I give you a flashback from last week. Knitting in Freeman Square, Brookline:

It's looking good--don't add to the pressure of moving by trying to keep up with a knitting schedule. Enjoy those walks!

I agree, enjoy the walks and let the schedule go. You have a big move ahead of you and thats enough to worry about :)

Don't pressure yourself to finish. You won't enjoy it that way and knitting should always be enjoyable (except for tinking and unraveling and pattern re-thinks etc. etc.) ;^)
Have a safe move!

I haven't done much knitting either, between the nice weather, a good book (or 3) that i've picked up and a lot of other stuff going on in my life right now I just haven't made much progress.
You're not alone!

Well, you can probably schedule 4 hours of knitting while in transit from Boston to NY, but not much more... And your arms will surely hurt from all the lifting! Deep breaths...

Moving is stressful enough, don't put more pressure on yourself than needed. Once you are settled, then you can get back on track. There's way too much to do in the mean time. No one here is gonna get upset with you, we have all moved at least once. and if anyone gets pissy with you, ignore them. I am praying for a smooth move and nothing but sunshine for your move.

I'm impressed that you manage a couple of hours of packing before you knock off for a knit break.

The cardigan can wait - get yourself moved to NY!! I'm moving this month too, so I'm sure my knitting will suffer a bit too. Ah well, such is life!

Good luck with the packing!!! You'll be outside in the sunshine knitting before you know it :)

Knitting is supposed to be fun. Don't let it become a burden by trying to get it done while so much else is going on. Focus on the move, and the cardigan can wait!
