How Sweet It Is (They Are?)

Two completed lilac sleeves. All cables are correctly twisted.

One of you called my current sleeve saga "riveting". Don't know about that! I do know, however, that I'm pleased to be finished with the two of them.

And now, the body begins. I don't have a firm plan for its appearance. This will be a design-as-you-go project. It should be fun.

I think it's so smart to get the sleeves out of the way first--especially when you are working with new project enthusiasm. Yet I never think to do that! Looks great!

Those sleeves look divine! A hard-won victory but worth the effort.

I have been tied to patterns all of my knitting life. Two years minus the nearly one year break. I never think to do things out of order! Smart. They are lovely sleeves.

Cute! How is that ribbon yarn to work with? I was thinking of getting some Tess' for a tank...

woohoo! sleeves done! I love knitting the sleeves first. :) can't wait to see what you come up with for the body...

Gleek and I were just wondering about your sleeves the other day :)
Congrats on finishing both of them! Now that you're used to the yarn, the gauge, the cables, and all that, the body should be a breeze, no?

wow,, so neat!!!

I still think sweaters are scary! The sleaves look very nice:)

Woohoo!! They look great :)

LOVELY! love the shape, the cable - looking forward to the rest of the project.

Lovely! It must feel so good to be at this point in the project.

The sleeves are so pretty, even if the sweater was plain, it would still be a good design.

Can't wait to see the rest. Good luck!

well the sleeves are an excellent omen for the rest.

They look great. congrats on getting them finished. I'm sure the body will be a breeze now that you're used to the yarn.
