Mystery Subway Knitter of the Week

How many weeks (months?) have gone by without a subway knitter sighting? Well, okay, there was that woman I saw on a day that I was sans camera. But that must have been, what, early February?

Yesterday evening, I spotted this man across the aisle from me. Maybe the general thaw that we're experiencing in New England has caused some fellow knitters to think more kindly on the idea of taking one's knitting out for a walk. Whatever the cause, welcome back to the blog!

Hooray for subway knitters! Life is good.

Apparently there was someone on one of our local buses for a long time (too early for me to see) who was working on a vest for quite some time - a man, which always adds a but of intrigue. But my busride is too short and crowded for knitting :(

On the Red Line yesterday afternoon, there were, not one, not two, but three of us knitting. I said to myself, "Where's Colleen and her stealth cam?"

Aw! Makes me sad I don't have a subway, or train, or bus for that matter to ride to work! SoCal doesn't exactly lend well to public trans...
knitting in traffic probably wouldn't work too well ;-)

Yeah! I had a sighting on my commuter train last week and I had my camera with me so I was able to post a photo.

Ooh, men knitting in public! I wonder how long it will take for the men around here to realize that it won't make them weak to try a "woman's" pursuit.

Easier said than done. Peer pressure is alive and well.
