A Project Begins

A few rows of seed stitch, and the tank has a bottom.

I'll have you know that I have made few decisions about this top yet, except for the overall measurements. I don't know about the neckline or the back. I hope that I'll decide by the time I reach the top....

Sounds like an adventure - good luck! The weather will be warm for a few more months, so hopefully you'll get a lot of use of out this top.

The designer at work .. . This is definitely tank weather.

Unbounded potential.

What a great idea it is to dream of what your tank is going to be like while you're slogging through inches of ribbing in the round!

So far, so good, knock on wood.

You know, I was at an outlet mall yesterday with my knitting other-half (Krista, who shares a blog with me) and we saw an Adrienne Vittani *store*. No, it doesn't sell yarn, but there were some imaginative sweaters.

I was just stunned that there exists such a store. (Note to the wise: if you buy something from there, it runs large. I bought an XS knit shell, and it's still rather largish.)
