Got Plans for the Weekend?

I do!

1. Sew armholes on the Softwist Cardigan:

2. Make pom poms for hats:

3. Finish socks (one down, and one on the needles):

4. Knit a swatch for...something:

There are too many things in the "almost finished" category around here and they're all starting to bug me.  Everywhere I turn there is some knitted item that needs just a little bit of finishing.  Well look out knitting, because that's all about to change!  My goal is to have a clean knitting conscience in time for Knitsmiths so that I can start something new.

Oh yeah, I am jumping on that train. Finished items ahead!

Your sock turned out really well, love the little edge. I'm looking forward to all these finished items..go for it!

That means a finished Softwist Cardigan will debut at Knitsmiths? I can't wait to see it! And hah, you aren't a sock knitter, look at how quickly those went! WTG!

Because of stumbling across your daily blog, I decided to start knitting again after many years of not...
I am knitting a piece that needs the skpo (slip one, knit one, pass slipped stitch over) and yarn over steps. It is a lighthouse, and the lacy pattern lets the "light" shine through...very pretty. One side of the piece uses the yo and k2tog, but the other side uses the skpo and yo. The k2tog side looks SO much better - I know I am doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what it is. I even did the right skpo once, but I'll be darned if I can figure out how I did it!!!

Any suggestions?

A very knitty weekend! Can't wait to see what happens b/c of this weekend.

And you've finished the sock! Yay!

(can you tell I'm so far behind in my blog reading?)

We have all seen you do some wonderful things so far we know you are not going to let a few pom-pom balls and a sock and an arm hole stand in your way LOL!
